The EarthCycles calendar lets you see each year as spin of Earth around the Sun. Thus the calendar's circle is divided into 365 days, and those are grouped into weeks and months.

As you watch Earth spin around the Sun, you can see our planetary neighbours spin too! This is invaluable for not just understanding the night sky but connecting with the deep time cycles that each planet's orbit represents.

Look carefully at the center of the calendar while you hover or click around the days. You can see in real-time how the phase of the moon changes and what it will be on any given day of the year.

Once you've activated a lunar, earthen or planetary cycle hover your mouse over the days of the year and watch the cycle unfold! Both the moon and planets will change in size and phase depending on their orbital cycle.

The EarthCycles calendar is in beta. We're working on the display of cycles of our kindred creatures. Stay tuned: soon you'll be able to log in, synk with your google calendar and track your own personal, professional and family cycles.
